02Gigabit RJ45 and SFP
Dual gigabit RJ45 ports (10/100/1000Mbps) and a gigabit SFP slot for a standard fiber module, plus 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

IP discovery, ping, trace route, DHCP server, port flashing and link monitor, so you can find the camera and prove the path to the recorder.

Find the Cable Fault Before Replacing the Camera
01RJ45 TDR up to 180m
Checks pair status, length, attenuation, reflectivity, impedance and skew, and finds the distance to an open or short.
02UTP cable test
Shows the connection status of each pair, so a miswired or broken connector is found before the camera is replaced.
03Cable tracer included
The wire finder in the box traces BNC, RJ45 and telephone cables, so unlabelled runs are identified before you test the far end. Its AC voltage detector (AC12V–1000V, CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V) warns of live wiring first.

01HDMI and VGA
HDMI output up to 4K @ 60FPS sends the test picture to a larger monitor; HDMI input up to 4K @ 30FPS and VGA input at 1080P @ 60FPS show what the NVR or DVR is outputting.
02RS-485 PTZ control
RS-485 at 600–115200bps to pan, tilt and zoom the camera and confirm its address and baud rate.
03Record and report

Which cameras can the IPC-9800CADH Pro+ test?
IP cameras up to 8K / 32MP over ONVIF and RTSP, TVI / CVI / AHD coaxial HD cameras up to 8MP and analog CVBS cameras (PAL / NTSC).
Does it work with Hikvision and Dahua cameras?
Yes. Besides standard ONVIF and RTSP, it has built-in Hikvision and Dahua test tools, so cameras from both brands can be found and checked on site without a laptop.
Can it power a PTZ camera without a switch or injector?
Yes. It supplies PoE++ (55V, max 90W, IEEE 802.3af/at/bt), standard PoE (DC48V, max 25.5W) and DC12V / 3A and DC24V / 2A camera power, enough for high-draw PTZ cameras while you set them up.
Can it control PTZ cameras?
Yes, over RS485, 600–115200bps. Protocols: PELCO-D/P, Samsung, Panasonic and 30+ Protocols.
Can it find cable faults?
Yes. RJ45 TDR checks network cable length, and finds the distance to an open or short, up to 180m. It also has a built-in wire tracer (BNC / RJ45 / Telephone Cable Detection).
Can it test cameras on fiber?
Yes. The gigabit SFP slot takes a standard fiber module, so cameras on fiber links are tested without a media converter.
